98 Degrees Reuniting: Will Play Show at the Summer Mixtape Festival After 11 Years

Before Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato came onto the scene, there was 98 degrees.  They were the boy band that captured the hearts of millions of teens across the globe.

Earlier this year, Nick Lachey shot down rumors that the band would be doing a full summer tour.

However, it was recently announced that the band will get together for their first performance after 11 years.  The band plans to play one show in August at the Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  

"We all miss the rush of being onstage together, performing together," said Nick Lachey to MTV.  

Brother Drew Lachey said, "We're very excited about the opportunity, and we've been toying around with the idea for a couple years of 'if we got back together, when would be the right scenario?"  it turns out that Mixtape Festival fit their schedule perfectly, and they'll be testing the waters.

Fans have not forgotten about the heart throbs and have been wanting to see the band get back together.

Other bands in the Mixtape Festival lineup include the Wanted, New Kids on the Block and New Kids/ Backstreet Boys mega-band NKOTBSB.
