Considering all of the rumors about Harry Styles we're used to, the latest one about his possible religion conversion is definitely one of the more interesting claims. Thanks to a misquote on Twitter and from "insiders," news broke this week that Styles was taking lessons to learn the Hebrew language in hopes to eventually convert. Even if this were true, this is clearly a personal situation for the singer, but it turns out its not true so lets find out how this got out of hand and took some attention away from the One Direction heartthrob's romance with Kendall Jenner!

One source sated: "Harry's made it his mission to learn to speak and write Hebrew. His obsession started with his tattoos, but now he's becoming very serious about learning as much as he can. So far he learnt to write his name and One Direction in Hebrew."

Unfortunately for this "source," this is completely false.

A quote from "Story of My Life" music video director Ben Winston (also credited as This Is Us producer on other websites ...) made its way across the Internet this week, backing up claims of Harry's interest in the Jewish religion.

"He loves the Jewish community and wearing a Magen David," Winston allegedly said. "He always has it round his neck and had it on show at the recent Teen Choice Awards. All the boys love Judaism. They are fascinated by it and they enjoy the family atmosphere. Over the years they have become part of our family really and are interested in what we do. I had to laugh because the other night on the red carpet, a reporter asked Harry why he was a bit late arriving that night. He said, 'Yeah, because our manager is a nudnik!' They've definitely embraced a Jewish way of life, that's for sure."

Though this detailed quote seems to back up this story, Winston recently stated that he was misquoted and actually never said most of this.

"'All the boys love Judaism'...Amazing," he said. "Not really that amazing. Quotes I never said taken from interviews over a year ago!"

So it looks like this is just another rumor involving Harry Styles. An incredibly personal rumor, but still untrue nonetheless.
