Ellie Goulding opens up about past dating rumors & romances with Greg James, Skrillex, Niall Horan, Ed Sheeran and more!

In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, 27-year-old pop singer Ellie Goulding opened up about her past romances. She even talked about the many rumors we've all heard over the years and how she finds them to be laughable. This interview also touches on specific ex-boyfriends that she felt comfortable enough to mention by name. Who do you think she spoke about the most and does that mean she still has feelings lingering?

"You might be with someone you think you know everything about, then it takes just one thing to throw it all into the wind," Goulding revealed in this January issue of Cosmopolitan. "I wrote "Anything Can Happen" because I'd been in a relationship with Greg [James, Radio 1 DJ] for two years, who I absolutely adored and still do. Then that ended very unexpectedly and it threw me off. I didn't expect another relationship for a long time after that."

But Goulding did have another relationship, this time with a more high-profile beau.

"Then all of a sudden I met this other person [dubstep producer Skrillex], and it was crazy - it came from nowhere," she said. "I think it's really important to be with someone who inspires you and adds something to you. And humor! It's quite hard to really make me laugh."

Although she's essentially talking about another boyfriend, Goulding turns the conversation back to James.

"Greg is ridiculously funny - we were always laughing all the time. I've never met anyone with quite the same sense of humor as him," she said. "But it's nice going home to bed on my own before midnight and watching Geordie Shore!"

We're used to hearing dating and romance rumors when it comes to Goulding as well, and she explains in another interview that she hears the rumors, too!

"For a long time people thought I was with Calvin Harris because of the romantic video we did. They still come up to me and say [they] hope we get married," Goulding told the Daily Star.

But what about her love life these days? Clearly these interviews will help clear up some rumors, but we want to know whom she's dating in 2014!

Ellie explained: "I'm single and I don't have a boyfriend, so it's funny always being linked with everyone."
