Dead Weather release new track "Rough Detective"

The Dead Weather have been releasing a stream of singles through member Jack White's Third Man label as part of a long lead-up to a 2015 album. The latest to drop is "Rough Detective."

The track starts out like some sort of sexy bachelor pad music before the fuzz and distortion take the riffs to a truly strange places. Allison Mosshart and White go back-and-forth on their way to a chorus that sounds like the crustiest Fleetwood Mac cover tribute ever dreamed up.

Of course, White always has more than one pot simmering. White is possibly working on a follow-up to his latest solo album Blunderbuss.
