Cara Delevingne and Michelle Rodriguez starring in 'Thelma & Louise' movie remake?

According to some new reports, a Thelma & Louise remake is apparently in the works and Michelle Rodriguez is attached to star. Not only is the Fast and Furious starlet boarding this cult classic remake, she's apparently trying to get her headline-grabbing bestie Cara Delevingne to join the project.

These two have been in the headlines for kissing at a New York Knicks game in January, partying in Europe and reportedly planning on moving in together. Though we don't know for sure, plenty of tabloids are saying the two are dating, so seeing them on screen together could make the rumors even more wild!

Rodriguez has reportedly been attached to this remake since 2012, but now that her budding relationship with Cara is heating up she's trying to get the model on the film as well.

"A few names have been mentioned as her co-star, including Kristen Stewart, Annalynne McCord and Leighton Meester - but Michelle is pushing for Cara," a source said. "She thinks she would light up the big screen and that the pair of them would be a huge hit together."

Though you might scoff at this prospect, Cara is actually an aspiring actress. She has a few films in the works including The Face Of An Angel, which costars Daniel Bruhl, and Kids In Love, which will be released in the United Kingdom in August. We should expect more movie roles for the beauty, so why not Thelma & Louise?
