Nike has something special in store for all of the anxious sneakerheads, announces system of exclusive access codes

Looking to stay ahead of the game when it comes to sneakers? Nike has something special in store for you. The shoe manufacturer recently announced a new buying system for anxious sneakerheads.

The system unveiled as "Nike Access Codes," will give customers the opportunity to purchase sneakers by way of exclusive access codes.

Nike released a statement on its website explaining the upcoming process:

"Nike will send out Access Codes to select customers, granting them exclusive access to select Nike products. Each code is unique to the individual, valid for a limited time and redeemable only once.

Nike reserves the right to use access codes on any product and won't announce selections publicly prior to use. Nike also reserves the right to deactivate access codes or ban users at any time.

Access Codes can be distributed in person or electronically. An accompanying link will take users to a product page where they can redeem the access code for purchase."

However, the Access Codes do not guarantee that customers will be able to buy the product.

It is unclear what Nike means by "select customers" but some sneaker lovers have speculated that it may be a way for the company to target a more sophisticated demographic.

No word on when these Access Codes can be expected and Nike didn't offer up any other details on their Twitter page.
