It's always nice to see two celebrities posing for pictures together on Instagram, especially when one of those stars is taking over a role that was originally played by the other. This happens more often then you'd think thanks to reboots. So when Chris Evans posed with Michael B. Jordan, we all felt a great deal better about the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot and the role of Johnny Storm.

Check out this post from Jordan's Instagram page, and notice the caption accompanying the photo:

Meanwhile, Evan spoke with the New York Daily News about "passing the torch" to Jordan, in which he expressed his excitement over the news.

"It's so funny, you almost feel precious over the role that you don't want someone else to do it, but when you hear someone phenomenal is doing it, it's very exciting like you almost can't wait," the Captain America star said. "I couldn't even give that guy any advice if I wanted, that guy is so good. [...] It's exciting to see what he's going to do, because I know he's going to reinvent it in a way that I could never have imagined. [...] It's almost like we're sharing, the character is ours. I feel like I'm connected with him in a way, It's a nice feeling."

Jordan has received a lot of backlash considering his race and that of the comic book character. But Evan's backing should further quiet this controversial issue as we get closer to the 2015 release date of the Josh Trank-directed blockbuster.
