Jennette McCurdy's Feud With Ariana Grande & Nickelodeon Over Money?

It seems that the feud between Jennette McCurdy and Nickelodeon is over nothing more than the price tag. TMZ reported earlier that when it comes down to it Jennette is upset that she is making less than her 'Sam & Cat' co-star, Ariana Grande.

As previously reported production has come to a halt on the popular Nickelodeon show 'Sam & Cat', who's, January hour-long episode, had the most viewers for the network in two years. It now comes to light that Jennette's paycheck may be one of the main reasons behind the shutdown on the popular show.  

The starlet who was a no show at this years 'Kids Choice Awards' this past weekend took to Twitter to explain her absents saying that "I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me."

Fans thought her absents might have been due to her recent nude photos scandal, but she was quick to let them know she wasn't referring to that in her tweet but rather her  "unfair" treatment by Nickelodeon.

The unfair treatment by the network appears to be nothing more than a failure on their part to approve a pay raise for the star. Could this money dispute also be the reason behind McCurdy's recent unfollowing of Grande on social media? It seems that McCurdy may be a little jealous of her co-star.

When asked about this recent development, a rep for Nickelodeon says that, "We have nothing but the utmost respect for Jennette and her talent."

Nickelodeon may respects her, just not enough to pay her as much as Grande.
