Kanye West announces new line of Adidas shoes, YEEZi released June 2014 [VIDEOS]

While performing at Adidas' Global Brand Conference in Germany this week, international pop/rap superstar Kanye West announced that he and the sports apparel company have teamed up for a new shoe. Called the "YEEZi," Kim Kardashian's fiancé revealed that this new sneaker would be hitting shelves in June. The announcement surprised most since rumors of this new shoe were discredited about a month ago.

Rumors circulated around the Internet this afternoon that Kanye would actually reveal the shoes; however, today's appearance only resulted in the announcement of a release date. The Chicago emcee showed up in a pair of white and green Stan Smiths instead. Photos of what were reported to be the new YEEZi circulated around the web late last month, but the pairs, unfortunately for sneaker heads, proved false. The partnership, struck last November for a reported $10 million, has been the most talked about collaboration in the sneaker world (even more talked about than adidas' partnership with sartorially minded musician Pharrell Williams), with every bit of news causing snearkerheads to salivate.
