MStars is singing, "Happy Birthday" to one of the sexiest men alive, Lenny Kravitz!
The singer turned 50-years-old Monday, posting a photo of himself along with his mother when he was a child. He wrote, "How sweet it is," on this photo he posted, via Instagram.
Kravitz was born, Leonard Albert "Lenny" Kravitz on May 26, 1964. His mother, was African-American actress, Roxie Roker; she played the character of Helen Willis in the 1970s hit television sitcom, The Jeffersons. The singers father was Sy Kravitz, a producer for NBC news, and a filmmaker.
Kravitz who was close to his mother, wrote hit songs about her after she passed away from Breast Cancer in 1995. One of the rocker's popular songs was, "Thinking of You," dedicated to his mother.
Kravitz has also had sex appeal, and a tight toned body, he gave his fans a "throwback" of his hot body while playing a game of pool. The caption read, "#TBT Nassau pool hall during the recording of the album "5."
The singer has won 4 Grammys, and has been nominated a total of 8 times for categories including, "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance."
In 1999 Kravitz won "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance" for his hit song,"Fly Away."
Kravitz also revealed that he was working on a new album, entitled "STRUT." He wrote, "In the studio listening to final mixes of my new album "STRUT."
