Earlier today, Uruguay's star player Luis Suarez was officially banned by FIFA from international play for nine matches and four months of "any football related activity." This judgment came after video evidence of him biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini in a decisive Group D match in the 2014 World Cup. With that said, let's take a look at some of the reactions we've seen so far on Twitter to this news.
First, the most important reaction to Luis' bite was from FIFA.
"Such behavior cannot be tolerated on any football pitch, and in particular not at a FIFA World Cup when the eyes of millions of people are on the stars on the field," said Claudio Sulser, FIFA disciplinary committee.

can you imagine biting three people while at work, AND still having a job AND not being arrested by the police though? #LuisSuarez
