Earlier this week, WWE Diva Emma, a.k.a. Tenille Dashwood of Australia, was arrested fro shoplifting a $21.14 iHome Slim Swivel iPad mini case. She missed this week's "Monday Night Raw" episode and was sentenced to community service after being charged with sixth-degree larceny. Dashwood has also lost her job.
World Wrestling Entertainment decided to fire Dashwood after her arrest in order to distance the alleged felon from the company. We say "alleged" because Tenille's attorney, Hubert Santos, is claiming the whole incident was simply a misunderstanding.
"She was using a self-checkout machine at the Hartford Wal-Mart when she bought about $30 of items but forgot to pay for an iPod or iPad case," he explained.
Unfortunately, the WWE does not care to hear this excuse.
"WWE is aware that Tenille Dashwood (WWE Diva Emma) was arrested for shoplifting. Ms. Dashwood is ultimately responsible for her personal actions," a statement from the organization said.

This shoplifting news has resulted in fans wondering what Emma is being paid to be a TV personality and athlete. Knowing the price of the item she stole makes us a little more worried. Unfortunately she's out of a job now so she's making much less!
Do you think her attorney is telling the truth? That this was just a mistake from a self-checkout experience?
