Dolly Parton is ready to expand her musical genre.
The country legend is thinking about giving all her gay fans a treat by recording a dance album specifically for them.
In a press conference to promote her world tour, which just so happens to be concluded last night, the singer told reporters that she even has a few songs already picked out for the album.
"At some point I would like to do a dance record and I have several songs that are very positive towards the gay community," the "Jolene" singer revealed.
"I have a song called 'Just A Wee Bit Gay,'" Dolly teased. "It's a great little dance tune, it's funny and it's got a lot of comic in it. I do write a lot of songs along those lines with people that are different and are just themselves."
Parton has been seen as a gay icon since she busted onto the music scene in the 70's. She has been an avid supporter of gay rights and even spoke out on the issue of legalizing gay marriage earlier this year.
"I think everyone should be with who they love. I think gay couples should be allowed to marry. They should suffer just like us heterosexuals," the country singer jokes.
Tennessee, where Dolly is originally from, still considers same-sex marriage to be illegal. However, her theme park "Dollywood" in the state, does host an annual "Gay Day" celebration for all LGBT fans, and when the state does start allowing for same-sex couples to get married we have a feeling that the amusement park might just be a big draw for weddings.
