In a hilarious new YouTube clip, Comedy Central hosts Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert go toe-to-toe over who the biggest Star Wars fan is, in an effort to promote the Star Wars: Force for Change Campaign. The campaign says it "will raise funds and awareness for the United Nations Children's Fund's Innovation Labs and its innovative programs that are benefitting the world's most vulnerable children."
The clip shows friendly rivals Colbert and Stewart discussing the initiative which not only benefits UNICEF's life-changing programs around the globe, but also gives fans a chance to appear in the next installment of the Star Wars franchise: Star Wars: Episode VII directed by J.J. Abrams.
Colbert, excited by possibility, declares himself to be biggest Star Wars fan to Stewart and the battle ensues. They agree on a trivia battle to settle the debate.
Colbert heads to Stewart's office where he is greeted by a fully costumed Stewart replete with light saber. Colbert scolds him for wearing Obi-Wan's garb while carrying Darth Vader's light saber. Stewart replies, "My blue Obi-Wan light saber had no batteries in it."
The pair proceed to duke it out over trivia and and pass the saber back and forth using Jedi mind tricks, before it appears Stewart is struck down by Colbert, who then looks down at the empty costume and says, "I guess he's dead."
"Is he?" Stewart asks from another part of the room. Now he's dressed as Princess Leia. Colbert can't compete with that.
He folds. "Ok, you win."
Both comedians are stifling laughter the whole time.
Check out the video below. And there eight days left to join the campaign and win a role in the new Star Wars movie!
