'Iron Man' Robert Downey, Jr. Highest Paid Actor In Hollywood: Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale Also Make The 2014 List

Robert Downey, Jr. is the highest paid actor in Hollywood, for the second year running, according to Forbes.

Downey made an impressive $75 million between June 2013 and June 2014.

Forbes explains, "Downey reigns as the highest paid man in Hollywood because at this point, it would be incredibly difficult for Marvel to continue making Iron Man and Avengers films without him. Marvel movies starring Downey have earned almost $4 billion at the global box office and millions more on home video, not to mention the millions the movies have generated in merchandise."

Tom Cruise topped the list at $75 million in 2012. Johnny Depp was top dog in 2010 with $75 million, but both men failed to make the most recent list. Leonardo DiCaprio managed to stay on the list although he fell slightly from the top spot in 2011 with earnings of $77 million.

Downey is reprising his role as as billionaire playboy-turned-superhero Tony Stark in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is currently filming and is scheduled to be released in 2015.

Downey told Entertainment Weekly yesterday that he is up for another Iron Man movie if the powers that be will have him back. We can't speak for anyone, but we're pretty sure they will.
