'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' 2014 Movie Theme Song 'Shell Schocked' [LISTEN] Vanilla Ice Disses Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign Track

If you haven't heard the new theme song to the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action reboot, it is definitely a modern update to the franchise. Entitled "Shell Shocked," this new theme comes from collaborators Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Kill the Noise, and Madsonik. In a new interview with GQ Magazine, former Ninja Turtles theme song performer Vanilla Ice was asked about the new theme, and came down pretty hard on it! We know it isn't "Ninja Rap," but then again nothing ever will be again!

"With respect to all of the artists, the song doesn't really do it for me. It feels a little artificial - what I mean by that is that it sounds like a bunch of executives in the corporate world put it together," he told GQ. "It really does not fit the theme of the Ninja Turtles legend. I think you have to understand, and be a true Ninja, to possess the Magic to really pull off the secret sound."

It is definitely a hard task to follow Ice's "Ninja Rap," but this group of hip-hop artists certainly went for it! Unfortunately, they did not impress Vanilla Ice with this song, so in a way that is a failure in itself!
