'True Detective' Season 2 Casting Rumors, Episodes Spoilers: Vince Vaughn In Talks For Lead Role Amidst Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch Cast Gossip

The latest casting rumors surrounding season 2 of HBO's True Detective had us believing Colin Farrell was set to lead the cast with Taylor Kitsch possibly also taking a role. Now the latest speculation names Vince Vaughn as a frontrunner for either the same or another role. If this rumor is true, Vaughn could possibly reinvent himself in a dramatic role in 2015.

Series creator Nic Pizzolatto recently said that the series would consist of four lead roles, so we could technically know our 3 male leads if these reports are true. This of course leaves the female role that Pizzolatto has been teasing, so we can expect plenty of speculation to come up now that we could know the male leads.

Then again, these rumors about all of these actors could be false so we could be back at square one with this show. Either way, the Vaughn rumor is at least intriguing for fans of the series and the actor.
