Love and Hip Hop New York reality star, Yandy Smith says season 5 of the hit VH1 show will have new cast members and says the show's creator Mona Scott-Young does not start any drama between cast members on the show.
Yandy told Bossip.com that her old cast members that blamed the show's producer for stirring the drama aren't looking at themselves for some violent scenes based on their own reactions,
"Everyone's saying that Mona sets things up and it's Mona's fault. I think that's completely ironic,"
she added, "No one can put the bottle in your hand to throw. No one can write down in the script: 'Jump over the table now and slap her' and think that you're not going to get slapped back. There's no script 'cause I've never seen it."
Yandy continued to defend the reality show creator saying that past members like Chrissy Lampkin who slammed Mona for awkward scenes that lead to catfights were strategically placed so she could get bigger ratings.
Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club radio host, Charlamagne Tha God accused Mona for ruining the perception of African Americans through the chaos on the show.
"Mona Scott-Young is the devil dawg...no for real I just want you to know that." He said during a celebrity interview, "Mona Scott-Young has done more damage to the black community than Donald Sterling!"
Although facing so much criticism, Yandy revealed that more people are signed up for the reality show, "There's some crazy people on the show. There some crazy new people. Expect some new cast. Expect some twists and turns. Expect some damn buffoonery," she said. "There are always funny little twists and turns that happen with 'Love & Hip Hop.'"
