After learning that "Love & Hip Hop New York" star Yandy Smith was expecting her second child with fiance and co-star Mendecees Harris, "MStars News" has also learned what the expecting mom may name her daughter. According to Madame Noire, Yandy is in love with her last name, and it just may be the name of her little girl. "I love the name 'Smith,'" Yandy stated, "which is my last name, but he is very big on names that have meaning. His whole family has African names that have meaning — ask me if he's African, and I'll tell you no. But he wants our daughter to have a name with meaning, so we'll see what happens. I don't know if I'm going to win the Smith battle, but all my children will be named Harris, so I just wanted to have my legacy live." We learned that a petition was created to ban the show after outraged sororities and fraternities produced almost 50,000 signatures before the show aired. If there's one person who's fired up about Mona Scott-Young's new show "Sorority Sisters," it's TV host Roland Martin. On Monday night, Dec. 15, thousands of viewers watched the new reality show and woke up outraged by tweeting there disgust for the dramatic show. Martin, wasn't alone in feeling like the show was a false representation of Greek life, the HBCU and African-American culture. "MStars News" previously reported that a petition was signed to try to ban the show before it aired, but now viewers of the show will have to do most of the talking and try not to watch the next episode if they want to see change. A couple weeks ago, "MStars News" learned that Yung Berg was being fired from the hit VH1 show "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Masika Kalysha. Now the reality show's executive producer, Mona Scott-Young, has revealed that she was sad and upset about letting Berg go. "MStars News" previously revealed that Berg was let go in a VH1 statement that read: "Based on the severity of the allegations against Yung Berg, VH1 is terminating its relationship with him in connection with "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood," effective immediately." After finally letting violent cast members go, including Benzino from "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta," Mona Scott-Young says the network and production team's decision to let Berg go was a bit sad. "Listen, like I said, I know that emotions get the best of them. I was not there so I can't speak to exactly what led to that. I know that he does feel badly that it did happen," Mona said in an interview with Vlad TV. "Unfortunately, the network decided that was an absolute position that they had to take," she continued. "Berg is such a talented artist and I wish him all the best. I hope that the time that he spent on the franchise he's managed to leverage it and that it serves him. He was great. I will miss him ...
