Here is a synopsis of the movie:
GONE GIRL - directed by David Fincher and based upon the global bestseller by Gillian Flynn - unearths the secrets at the heart of a modern marriage. On the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) reports that his beautiful wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), has gone missing. Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick's portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble. Soon his lies, deceits and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?
While we're all truly excited for Gone Girl, cast member Tyler Perry recently shared a funny story revealing he probably wouldn't have been excited for the film had he not been involved. It turns out, he's not familiar with director David Fincher!
"I probably would have walked away from it. If I had known who David Fincher was, and his body of work, or if I'd known the book was so popular, I would have said, No," he admitted, according to Yahoo!. "And my agent knew that! He didn't tell me until after I signed on!"
