American Idol alum Kimberley Locke showed interest in being American Idol judge.
In the recent interview with The Associated Press, Locke said she would like to fill the vacant seat. "I would love to sit in that chair and, you know, give some advice from the contestant's standpoint because I've been on that stage and I know what it's like."
Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler already decided to not come back for the next season. Mariah Carey confirmed last week to join the show and there is still one spot left empty.
"I'm not quite as nice as Paula (Abdul). Paula's super, super nice but I don't think I'm quite as mean as Simon (Cowell) either," the singer added.
Locke, who finished third in Idol season 2 behind Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken recently released her single "Finally Free" on her own label, IAM Entertainment.
