Nicholas Brendon, Emma Caulfield: ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ Stars Reunite in Australia [PHOTO]

Yes, it is true; there was another mini Buffy The Vampire Slayer reunion... and this time it was in Australia. Nicholas Brendon (who played Xander) and his onscreen love interest, Emma Caufield (who played Anya), reunited at Oz Comic-Con and they, of course, took a picture together.

Since the end of the cult classic Buffy back in 2003 we've been grasping onto any reunion that we can get. Last week, the duo of Anya and Xander posed in front of a "Buffed" shoe shine sign and Buffy fans everywhere rejoiced.

"This happened today. #buffy #ozcomiccon #xander #anya @fordmark1 #australia #winning #nickbrendon #buffed #emmacaulfieldapprovesthismessage," Emma wrote on Instagram.

The former costars did a joint interview while in Australia for Brisbane Times and reminisced about their Warner Brothers' hit show.

"It has been a very strange slow burn that oddly keeps growing into a bigger and bigger flame," Emma told the publication, referencing the shows continued hype and support.

"It's like a Star Trek. I think that's what it's becoming at this point," she added.

Back in the United States, Faith (played by Eliza Dushku) and Cordelia (played by Charisma Carpenter) met up in Salt Lake City and posed for a selfie. Although the two actresses were never friends on the series, they looked friendly when they reunited in Utah.

Earlier this summer, another famous Buffy duo reconnected and shared their reunion on Twitter. Sarah Michelle Gellar (who play the lead, Buffy) and her onscreen watcher Anthony Stewart Head (who played Giles) met up in July and showed off "Cool to be kind" bracelets.

"@AnthonySHead Best surprise visit ever!! It's #CoolToBeKind Thanks for the bracelets," Sarah Michelle tweeted.

One day later, the Crazy Ones star did a Reddit AMA all about her time on the show and revealed that she did keep something from the set.

"Aside from her wardrobe? I think my favorite is that my makeup artist had made a special stake for me with a little bottle of holy water, and to this day I keep it by my bed," she said.
