Sara Gilbert And Wife Linda Perry Are Expecting First Child Together

Sara Gilbert is pregnant and she couldn't be more excited. The Talk co-host announced her pregnancy this morning on her show and no one saw it coming. This will be Sara and wife Linda Perry's first child together.

The couple got married on March 30, 2014 and is now ready to start a family together. Sarah, who is currently on The Big Bang Theory as a reoccurring character, already has two children (daughter Sawyer, 7, and son Levi, 9) with ex, Ali Alder.

"I happened to be talking about gay marriage and I thank you all for your support on that issue," Sara told her co-hosts last spring before tying the knot. "That was before I had any idea about any of this. I'm super shy and don't usually want to tell anything... but I wanted you guys to know because I feel like you're a part of our family here," Us Weekly reported.

The Roseanne alum shared her baby news on the live broadcast of The Talk today and surprised everyone. Sara revealed her secret while talking about why she won't be able to do one of the dares for the series' "Facing Your Fears" segment.

"Before we go I just want to say I'm actually not going to do the dare," Sara said. "I was scared to do it and I really believe in facing your fears, but I actually can't do the dare because I'm pregnant."

"I feel good, I feel really good ... at first I was really tired," she added.

The audience and all of her co-hosts screamed in excitement. Shemar Moore, who was a guest on the episode, joked about the pregnancy later on in the show. "The only thing bigger than Sara being pregnant is that I'm the baby daddy," Shemar joked.

The Talk family tweeted their excitement with a hilarious picture that captures the moment perfectly. "BIG BABY NEWS! Sending congratulations & love to @THEsaragilbert!!!! #TheTalk," the network wrote.
