Ray Rice Blames Alcohol For The Elevator Attack On His Wife, Janay Rice...Not Teyana Taylor Cheating Rumors

In the words of Jamie Foxx, and T-Pain, Ray Rice is blaming it on the alcohol for the cause of his infamous elevator knock punch that he delivered on his wife, Janay Rice.

Acoording to TMZ, sources close to the former Baltimore Ravens star claims that hard liquor was what triggered his elevator madness, and says that he has stayed away from the poison for months.

Rice revealed that he and his then fiancee, Janay Palmer had been drinking nonstop before they got into it. He has shared with his friends, that he becomes a different person, like "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" when he drinks. Rice is claiming that he is a changed man.

But it seems that Rice hasn't totally changed, he still drinks wine, just not hard liquor, the gossip site reports.

MStars News previously reported that rapper Joe Budden seems to think he knows the real reason Rice attacked his wife. He claims that Rice may have been cheating on Janay with singer, Teyana Taylor.

Sources also reported that Mr. and Mrs. Rice have become very religious since the days of the February elevator fight.  Not only did the couple get married in March, Ray and Janay both got baptized, and decided to become Born again Christians.

The couple have also began seeking religious mentoring with other couples, and that includes the former NFL players  Rice use to play with, and their wives. 

Ray finally broke his silence releasing a statement Tuesday claiming that he's trying to "work through this" adding, "We have a lot of people praying for us."

Janay on the other hand has been going off via social media. She had to cuss out a couple of followers.
