With the recent selection of the new Bachelor, Chris Soules, fans and new contestants are curious to know more about the seemingly perfect Iowa country boy. For example, is he really a Millionaire? We have the details.
The first clue to confirm his millionaire status is from ABC's Bachelor host Chris Harrison. "I think people are going to very much fall in love with this guy," Chris told USA Today during the Bachelorette season. "He's a small-town farmer from Iowa, fourth-generation land baron. If you say he's just a farmer, you're missing it. He's a millionaire. Very good-looking guy. He really wants to find a wife and live the American dream."
Well Chris, what is it that we're missing?
He may be worth in the millions but he also has that million-dollar-smile and personality. According to former Bachelorette -who didn't chose him - Andy Dorfman, "he is the total package," Dorfman said. "He is genuinely a sweet guy, and he's successful and business-oriented."
So why didn't Dorfman pick him? Just saying.
The Washington Post claims that Soules, "also runs his own multimillion-dollar business." He runs his family's multimillion-dollar, 6,000 corn estate in Arlington, Iowa. Soules Farm in Stanley, Iowa (not far from his hometown) has estimated annual revenues of $85,000 a year. In addition to working on his family farm the humble new Bachelor does Farm Management at Summit Farms and appears to be a "Farmland Investment Specialist," basically he's an expert in farmland.
Let's not forget his full-time gig on season 19 of the Bachelor set to air this January where past contestants can rack in a lump sum of anywhere between $30,000 - $250,000.
On his Good Morning America debut, Mr. Soules said, "I'm looking for someone who makes me a better person, who I can build an amazing family with. A life partner."
