Who's ready for a comeback? Much to our delight, HBO is! Earlier this year, MStarsNews reported that the famed cable network is bringing back the Lisa Kudrow-led pseudo docuseries The Comeback for another season after letting it go back in 2005.

With a change of heart, the network has set a season two start date for this coming Nov. 9 at 10 p.m. In a statement from HBO, the series will return for an eight-episode season with Kudrow reviving her role as Valerie Cherish.

Back in the first season, the former Friends lead found herself playing a once-upon-a-time television star who remained oh, so desperate to stay in the spotlight. Therefore, she hired a camera crew to follow her every move as she embarked on a new sitcom –– her comeback. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to work out as she was hoping.

We pick up season two ten years later, with Cherish believing she's figured it all out. Just a lucky guess –– she hasn't.

Check out a teaser trailer for the upcoming season below.

Aside from Kudrow, other cast members scheduled to return include Lance Barber, Dan Bucatinsky, Robert Michael Morris, Laura Silverman and Damian Young. Whether or not Malin Akerman and Kellan Lutz will appear remains to be seen.

The Comeback was created by both Kudrow and Sex and the City executive producer Michael Patrick King. Season two will also be written by them alongside Sex and the City's Amy B. Harris and 30 Rock's John Riggi.
