The Red Hot Chili Peppers played their third Lollapalooza show Saturday night, following a huge storm which evacuated concert-goers the afternoon the Peppers were set to hit the stage. But Festival organizers were on their game and managed to herd the 60,000 person crowd back into the Grant Park, Chicago concert grounds three hours later.
The Chili Peppers, with front man Anthony Kiedis, bassist Michael "Flea" Balzary, drummer Chad Smith, and newbie guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, tore through an amazing set, showing those Lollapalooza amateurs just how it's done. Check out some of the band's performances:
