Snow White (played by Ginnifer Goodwin) and The Evil Queen (played by Lana Parrilla) have had a relationship full of ups and downs on ABC's hit show Once Upon a Time and in season four that isn't going to change.
Last season, the two rivals put aside their negative pasts and came together to save Storybrooke and help Henry (played by Jared Gilmore) rediscover magic. But what will happen this season? In August, OUAT executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly they couldn't reveal if Regina and Snow would get along now that they are back to their old Storybrooke roles of mayor and teacher. But now that the season premiere is on Sunday we have more news.
Ginnifer told TV Line that there will be more scenes featuring Snow and Regina this season, which is great. "[Fans] will be very satisfied, because we do have many more scenes between the two of us. Lana [Parrilla] and I actually call the [producers] on a regular basis thanking them and asking them for more, because I personally find those scenes to be very powerful. The dynamic between them is so rich and we love exploring it," the 36-year-old actress explained to the publication.
As for the rest of the Storybrooke characters, in addition to facing the Ice Queen (Elsa from Frozen) there will be a few more flashback moments this season. What age Emma Swan (played by Jennifer Morrison) will be when the flashbacks take place is still being kept secret, but there will be a good amount of them in season four.
"There is a bit of a curveball in the flashbacks that I did not see coming, one that definitely adds a layer of suspense to how all of the puzzle pieces fit together," Jennifer revealed to TV Line.
Tune in this Sunday to see what happens when Frozen takes over Storybrooke.
