Charlotte's grandfather, former 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton, and grandmother former 67th United States Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, have been very vocal throughout their daughters pregnancy.
In June Hillary chatted with People about becoming a grandmother and her possible run for presidency.
"I'm about to become a grandmother," she said. "I want to live in the moment. At the same time I am concerned about what I see happening in the country and in the world," the former first lady said.
Bill told Entertainment Tonight's, Nancy O'Dell that he felt how his daughter felt. "Sometimes I feel like I'm in labor myself, I'm so excited," he joked. He also told CNN that "every day I get up and I say, 'You have to remember whose child this is. Do not interfere. Be there when you are welcome. Be loving but not judgmental,'"
Chelsea, 34, and investment banker Mezvinsky, 36, were married in a ceremony in Rhinebeck, New York. Mezvinsky is also part of a political family. His mother Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky was a Pennsylvania democratic congresswoman and his father Edward Mezvinsky was a former Iowa democratic congressman.
They will bring baby Charlotte home to their $10.5 million condominium in the Madison Square Park area of Manhattan.
Congrats to the new parents!
