During last week's premiere episode of Gotham, Selina Kyle — aka Catwoman — (Camren Bicondova) lurked in the background, watched from afar and event witnessed Bruce Wayne's family get murdered.

What she did not do was speak, but that is all about to change on tonight's new episode.

"It was really awesome," Camren told E! Online about not speaking during the pilot episode. "I got to incorporate my dancer side and show that I can act even without saying anything."

Tonight, when Gotham returns on Fox, the 15-year-old actress will have her first speaking moment on camera with Detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie).

"She's intrigued by Jim because she can see that he's actually a good guy. He's not just a typical bad cop in Gotham and she respects that he's actually trying to do something to fix the corrupt city. She appreciates being around someone genuine for once," she explained.

Although Camren's character did not speak last week, she did not see that as a bad thing. Instead, she says it is one of the coolest things about Selina.

"I actually sometimes think it's more interesting not speaking as an actor or actress because, especially with Selina, you don't know what she's thinking. I feel like you don't know what she's thinking as to where it's good, bad, or she's even thinking of anything and she's just dazing off into outer space. So that's what I love about her," Camren told MoviePilot.

After the series premiere, Camren talked to MoviePilot about how excited she was to land the role of Catwoman.

"I'm really excited and honored because it's a really legendary role. Nobody's ever played it [at this age] before and it's just really exciting," she told the publication.

Camren admitted she has always felt like a cat, which helped her prepare for this role as well.

"All my life I've been compared to a cat which is really ironic, but it's nice because sometimes I already feel like a cat, sometimes I don't. When I get on set, I just get to think about my cat Mr. G and how he operates and use him as inspiration," the San Diego native told the publication.

Gotham airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
