'American Sniper' Movie Trailer, Release Date [VIDEO] Watch First Footage Of Bradley Cooper As Navy Seal Chris Kyle In Biographic War Film

Earlier this week we saw the first images of Bradley Cooper in the movie adaptation of Navy Seal Chris Kyle's autobiography, American Sniper. Now we can share with you the first trailer for the film, which has a limited release date set for Christmas 2014. Also starring Sienna Miller as his wife, Taya Renae Kyle, and directed by Clint Eastwood, we have high hopes for this project!

Kyle, who tragically died in 2013 after being fatally shot at a shooting range, is known as the deadliest sniper in American history - but the biopic focuses more on his life than his legacy. Check out the first trailer for American Sniper right here:

Earlier this week, we reported on Cooper's interview with USA Today, which detailed his conversation with Kyle about the film, before the Navy Seal's death.

"Thank God I got to talk to him once on the phone. It was a very quick conversation. But I did tell him how serious I was about making this movie," Cooper said. "And he should just know that whatever fears he had about Hollywood, to just put them aside and trust me. That I was going to do everything I could to tell this story."
