Awkward is currently in its fourth season and has been picked up for a fifth and final season. Nikki DeLoach, who plays Lacey Hamilton, is now revealing what she hopes to see in the final season and what she wants to happen with daughter Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards) and Matty McKibben (Beau Mirchoff).

Season 5 will show the second half of the Palos Hills High students's senior year, picking up after their spring break. But what does mama Hamilton want to happen for her character and husband Kevin (Mike Faiola)? Babies!

"I've always wanted Lacey and Kevin to have another baby. That's definitely on my mind in terms of stories. I want them to experience having a baby as adults, rather than as high-schoolers. Let's be real, Lacey's meltdowns alone would make for good TV," Nikki told TV Line.

Besides her character's possible pregnancy, Nikki hopes to see Jenna's character happy by the end of the series ... with or without Matty, but hopefully with!

"There are actually two endings I'd be happy with: One of them would be both Jenna and Matty going to college and staying together," the 35-year-old told the publication. "The other ending I'd be happy with is if they decide to go to college and live their lives, then catch up with each other in five years and see what happens. It would be great to see Jenna standing on her own strength without a boy and without her parents."

That being said, Nikki admits she isn't really open to the idea of Jenna dating new guy Owen this season.

"Well, I am still — and will forever be — Team Matty," she revealed.

No matter what happens between Jenna and the many men in her life, Nikki knows Lacey and Kevin will have a hard time letting her go off to college, assuming she gets into a school, since she currently has one rejection letter.

"Kevin and Lacey will definitely go through that empty nest experience — especially Lacey, because Jenna's always been her rock. Every decision she's ever made in her life has been about her daughter, so she'll also be going through an identity crisis. Who is she without her daughter?" Nikki explained.

Awkward Season 4 airs Tuesdays on MTV.
