Buffy the Vampire Slayer alumnus Nicholas Brendon was arrested and detained in Idaho Friday night, Oct. 17. The 43-year-old actor was arrested under the suspicion of damaging property and then resisting arrest.
Nicholas was in Boise, Idaho, Friday for an appearance at Tree City Comic Con when police said they received a call for disturbance in the hotel lobby at 9:30 p.m. involving Nicholas and his some of his staff.
"When officers arrived, they found the actor showing 'signs of intoxication,'" E! Online reported. "Police said Brendon tried to walk away, after which officers arrested him for resisting and obstructing. Authorities also said hotel staff reported that he had broken a decorative dish and that they wished to press charges."
After being held at the local jail, Nicholas was released on $600 bail Saturday morning, Oct. 18.
"When officers arrived, they found the suspect who showed signs of intoxication and repeatedly refused officers' commands to stay seated while officers tried to speak with witnesses. When the suspect continued to try and walk away, officers took him into custody for resisting and obstructing," the Boise Police Department release said about the incident.
According to TMZ, Nicholas's representative said the actor would like to apologize to the Boise PD.
"It would be extremely helpful if we could put all the misunderstanding behind us and focus on more positive things," the rep exclusively told TMZ.
This isn't the first time the Criminal Minds actor has been arrested. In March 2010, Nicholas was arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, battery against the police and vandalism, E! Online previously reported.
In happier news, Nicholas and longtime girlfriend Moonda Tee got married Oct. 1 in Las Vegas. They surprised everyone when they tied the knot in Sin City a week after Nicholas proposed in Colorado.
