After he was done telling HuffPost Live about the time he and Norm MacDonald nearly killed each other at SNL, former Daily Show correspondent Wyatt Cenac stopped by TBS' CONAN to promote his new stand up tour. Unfortunately, there are a couple of things that are preventing him from selling tickets –– some guys named Dave Chappelle and Paul McCartney.
It seems that Cenac has been booked at the Majestic Theater in Madison, WI, for quite some time. And while he was psyched about the upcoming gig, Chappelle recently announced a show on the same night ... at the same time ... in the same town ... just across town!
Despite the situation, the comedian seems pretty cool with it, joking with host Conan O'Brien, "I'm kind of feel like 'Oh, it's fine.' People will come out for his show, people will come out for mine, see a line for his show and then go to his show."
Cenac then discussed how this isn't the first time he's been trumped by another headliner. While performing at a festival, all but one music stage was shutdown, leaving the comedian being the only performer onstage at the time... except for one other guy. Who? You guessed it: former Beatle, living legend, Paul McCartney.
And while he didn't seem to care about that either, watch Cenac on CONAN below to see what REALLY irked him:
Be sure to check out Cenac's newest stand up special on Netflix, Wyatt Cenac: Brooklyn.
