Sarah Michelle Gellar is best known for her role as Buffy Summers on The WB hit show Buffy the Vampire Slayerand now she's revealing the one curse about the series you might not expect.

Despite going on to a successful television and film career with shows like The Crazy Ones with Robin Williams and The Ringer from The CW network, there's one thing the Buffy alumna can't get used to, and is therefore a curse from her Buffy days.

"There is only one curse and it's not what people expect. The one curse is, as an actor, you get very spoiled because you think all female characters are going to be that exciting, that interesting, that flawed — and that's really not the case in Hollywood," Sarah Michelle told the Australian publication Confidential about the only Buffy curse. "That's the drawback — you have a standard of what to expect in the characters you play."

Buffy the Vampire Slayer first aired in 1997 and ran for seven seasons. Sarah's character was not your typical female lead: She was a badass who could defend herself, but she also had a feminine flare. She was a multi-dimensional and well-thought-out character thanks to the genius of creator Joss Whedon.

"The show proved it was OK to have a strong female character, a heroine, on television. Wonder Woman was a Glamazon. She was beautiful and had jewelry, Buffy was a human," she explained to the publication. "As humans, we fight the horrors of our life to get through the day. It was an elevated drama, an elevated comedy and a metaphor for the different parts of life."

Although we are still waiting for a real Buffy reunion, fans can see various episodes of the famous vampire-based show throughout the Halloween season.

"Pivot will air 'A Very Buffy Halloween' marathon the week of Monday, Oct. 27. Each day's run of episodes will begin at 5/4c and will follow a theme," TV Line reported.

The themes will include "Monday Sucks" Oct. 27, "Eve of the Demons" Oct. 28, "Witchy Wednesday" Oct. 29 and "Thursday Unleashed" Oct. 30. On Halloween itself, there will be a "Classic Monsters" theme with all the show's best Halloween episodes included.
