It's Nelly's birthday, and this rapper has one thing he can be excited about: his new reality show Nellyville!
The new BET show is set to hit your TV screens Nov. 25, at 10:30 p.m.
Fans will get to see another side of the St. Louis rapper as he shares his life as a father. Nelly is raising four kids and will prove that he's the head honcho in charge!
The rapper has two kids of his own: Chanel Haynes and Cornell Haynes III. The Grammy Award-winning rapper is also raising his late sister Jacqueline Donahue's two children, Sydney and Shawn.
Donahue died in 2005 after losing her battle with leukemia after she was diagnosed March 29, 2001.
Donahue's cancer was in remission two years before she suffered a relapse. Nelly rallied up multiple bone marrow drives, but a match was never found.
Nelly's sister was his stylist until she was too ill to still do her duties, and now Nelly has stepped up to the plate to raise his niece and nephew in the show.
Another anticipated cast member on the show will be Floyd Mayweather's ex, Shantel Jackson. Miss Jackson is currently the love of Nelly's life and will be appearing on the show as well.
In the video below, Nelly talks about his kids. His oldest daughter is in college now as she says, "My dad has to realize, I'm not a kid anymore."
"Tre" Cornell III is in high school and a football star as Sydney aspires to become a model, and then there's Shawn the rapper. Nelly claims his nephew is following in his footsteps.
