Chrissy Teigen is back on Twitter! The Sports Illustrated model said she was quitting Twitter after receiving death threats, but she is back on her account just seven days later.
According to Entertainment Tonight, it all started when the 28-year-old responded to the Ottawa shooting on October 22, saying: "active shooting in Canada, or as we call it in america, Wednesday."
The outspoken wife of singer, John Legend, received hateful messages and so much backlash that she decided to quit Twitter altogether. One angry user even posted, "I hope someone murders some[one] you love, like your f----t husband." Chrissy retweeted the hurtful message and added, "Amazing this isn't punishable."
Now, she's back! In a post that she thought was only on Instagram, she said, "Halloween movie night foods consist of me putting the word 'scary' in front of any sh*t I already want to eat" https://instagram.com/p/u0lPz-JjY8/
After realizing she accidentally linked the post to Twitter, she tweeted: "I meant to post that just to insta but accidentally linked to twitter it's like when you are trying to silent treatment someone and f*ck up."
Although it was an accident, it seems she liked being back and continued to engage her followers.
I'm bored. I missed you guys. Question time!
