Star Wars: Episode VII actor John Boyega this week shared a great Instagram photo of one of the most beloved droids from the series, R2-D2, showing how the years haven't been too kind to the little 'bot. Check out the first look image of the robot from the yet-to-be-titled film below! But before we take a look at the new R2-D2, we also learned this week that C3PO actor Anthony Daniels stated that Episode VII would be a better sequel than The Empire Strikes Back!

Before people get in a huff about Daniels' statement, we should consider his opinion to be higher than most when it comes to comparing films. After all, the actor has been in all six Star Wars franchise films as the same, comical droid. So when he took to Twitter to say the powerful statement, we all got very excited (via Slash Film):
