When you're as talented and gifted as LeBron James, it might be hard to find inspiration sometimes, however aspiring basketball player Lauren Hill has shown King James just that. The young lady is suffering from terminal cancer, and her wish was to play NCAA basketball. With some magic and kindhearted gestures, she has done just that, and in the process has earned James' respect and admiration. Could the inspirational woman be the catalyst behind the Cleveland Cavaliers' push for an NBA championship this season?

Hill made her one and only appearance, scoring, and completing her lifelong objective to play in the NCAA. In the process, thousands of dollars have been raised for charity, too, showing that she will remain a selfless, motivational woman until the very end. The game was moved two weeks sooner, with her condition worsening.

After hearing of this story, James posted "You are simply and truly 'AMAZING' Lauren Hill!!! Thank you for inspiring me and I'll try my best to match you! Congrats on your game. Also be looking out for a package from I to You! You're Awesome!!!" [sic]

Hill said, "Today has been the best day I've ever had."

Her mother added: "I'm happy for the joy of her getting her wish coming true, not only for raising awareness but also for being able to play in this game. But there's also sadness knowing that how much awareness she brings right now, she won't get to reap the benefits personally. That's what's amazing; she did this, knowing that."

Even though her life is near its end, she completed her goal and earned the respect of the game's greatest player. Not bad for a one-game career, right?
