Nellyville star Nelly is opening up about his new show set to premiere on BET November 25.

The biological father of two and adopted father of two says that creating his new reality show would demonstrate fathers in a positive light.

“I thought that this show could be different in the sense of showing that a single father and being a black man; [although] I’m not married, I’m always there for my children as much as possible,” the rapper said.

MStars News previously reported that Nelly's two kids, along with his niece and nephew that is raising after his sister died, will be featured on the show.

“When I say ‘my children,’ I mean them," he says about the four teenagers.

Nelly seems to agree with his former girlfriend. “Me and her relationship is definitely not one that is, I would probably say, normal. Even when we were together, it wasn’t normal.”

So why did Nelly decide to share his new love on the show? Nelly replies: “How am I going to show what’s going on in my life and not show what could potentially be prevalent in my life?”

In an recent interview, Nelly said:

"My brother, I am worried," Nelly expressed to host Marc Lamont Hill, according to the Huffington Post report. It's that tug-of-war with yourself."
