TV news is heating up this week. USA Network has officially renewed its hit series Royal Pains for two more seasons, plus ABC finally revealed its 2014 fall finale schedule for its dramas.

Entertainment Weekly reported that USA Network renewed Royal Pains for two more seasons, which will ensure the series will make it to at least 100 episodes. With a seventh and eighth season, you can expect a lot more from Dr. Hank and his motley crew.

"Royal Pains remains a staple for fun summer TV viewing, and we are pleased to bring back the series for two additional seasons," USA Network President Chris McCumber said in a statement via EW. "We're extremely proud of both the talent and creative team, who, season after season, have brought to life these relatable and multifaceted stories, which continue to attract a loyal fan base."

The medical-based series, which follows Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein) and his brother Evan R. Lawson (Paulo Costanzo), will be returning to the Hamptons for two more years after its Sept. 2 finale.

Royal Pains's Season 6 finale averaged 3.36 million total viewers, according to the publication. Both the seventh and eighth seasons will consist of eight episodes according to TV Line. Season 7 is slated to premiere in June 2015.

As USA Network is getting ready for its new season of Royal Pains, ABC is getting ready for its fall 2014 series to take a little hiatus. The network has announced when its hit shows will be breaking for the holidays, so take note.

According to TV Line, all of ABC's dramas will be taking an early hiatus, in either late November or early December, so be prepared to mark these dates down on your calendar.

The early fall finales include Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder and Scandal Nov. 20. As for the December midseason finales, Castle will air Dec. 8, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Dec. 9 and Nashville Dec. 10. Once Upon a Time, Resurrection and Revenge will have their fall finales Dec. 14.
