True Tori star Dean McDermott has shocked viewers with his candid confessions of infidelity, but now he's shocking them again, revealing this will be his last season on the reality show with his wife Tori Spelling.
"We have five more shows left. I can't do this anymore," he told Access Hollywood Live. "I can't keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world. I don't watch it. I can't. It's really difficult. I can't do it anymore, for my soul."
During the Lifetime show, the couple has gone through hours of therapy together, with the Chopped Canada host going through depression and drug problems.
"The fact that I cheated on my wife, I wish never happened," he said. "I wish my alcohol and drug use hadn't gotten out of control. I still love her to death and that's why we're still together."
Even though he has bared his soul to the public, Dean has no regrets about doing reality TV.
"The show has been great," he continued. "I've learned a lot of things about myself, my relationship. It's not all doom and gloom. There's a lot of good in the show."
When asked by hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover if his marriage will survive, he was optimistic.
"I believe so ... I hold out a lot of hope. If you don't have hope, what do you have?" he answered, according to the Daily Mail Online. "I love this woman, regardless of what I've done. I love her and want to be with her. I want to grow old with her ... at this moment she feels the exact same way."
But the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star wants to stay on the show.
"She finds it really helpful. It's really expedited the conversations that needed to be had in the beginning," Dean told E! News.
