Now-single Kris Jenner opened up on The Talk this Tuesday, Nov. 4, regarding her past divorce from first husband Robert Kardashian and how it helped her cope in her current divorce to Bruce Jenner.
"It's not an easy thing. I went through a divorce a long time ago with Robert Kardashian, and it was not fun," Kris revealed, according to the Daily Mail.
Robert is the father of her four Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars: Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob Kardashian. Robert gained national recognition as one of O.J. Simpson's defense attorneys in the latter's 1995 murder trial.
"It was scary, and I was so young, and I had four kids. And then we ended up being best friends. But there was a period of a couple years in there where it was really ugly and hard," she continued to say on the talk show.

Robert died of esophageal cancer at 59 Sept. 30, 2003, only eight weeks after his diagnosis.
Kris described her past divorce as "a really good learning experience" and that "you can choose to do things in a real grown-up way and be friends through something and make it so that everyone around you is comfortable and happy."
After Jenner's divorce, she met her second husband, Olympian Bruce Jenner. The two have two daughters Kendall and Kylie, now part of the Kardashian media conglomerate. Kris filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences Sept. 22 of this year.
"It's not a good decision," Kris said of her recent divorce filings. "But we're happier living apart than we were living together. Everybody feels it."
With all the negativity surrounding the divorce, Kris has been seen with Justin Bieber road manager Corey Gamble.
It seems as though divorce is treating her well!
