The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has had no problem spending thousands of dollars on herself even with her looming prison sentence and the bankruptcy fraud she and her husband Joe Giudice plead guilty to.
One of the more shocking claims is that the reality star had no issue spending at least $1,000 at a local store near where she lives and then pampered herself even more.
"Teresa purchased an expensive Byron Lars coat," a source told Radar Online. "She went to a store in Franklin Lakes and bought it like it was no big deal. She got her eyelashes done at Nisha Spa in Wayne, New Jersey, the day before court, too."
The Spa charges over $100 for eyelashes treatment, which is a lot more money than an average person would want to pay.
Apparently, the former Celebrity Apprentice contestant was surprised by the prison sentence or she wouldn't have spent so much on her appearance.
"Teresa thought she was going to walk into court and just get probation," the source continued. "She wanted to look good [for the sentencing]."
As MStars News reported, the reality couple has been arguing nonstop since both were sentenced to prison on charges of mortgage and bankruptcy fraud.
The RHONJ star recently spent $10,000 on her older daughter Gia's music video for her girl group 3KT. This caused much tension between Teresa and Joe even though she has paid her half of the over $400,000 restitution imposed on them by the judge in their case.
Teresa will spend 15 months in Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut, but not before she films a goodbye special for the Bravo show that made her famous.
