"MStars News" has learned that "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice started off her new year checking into prison early Monday morning, Jan. 5. According to TMZ, Giudice is now an inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, where she will be serving out her 15-month sentence for bankruptcy, mail and wire fraud. The celebrity gossip site revealed that the mother of four daughters reported to serve out her time at 3 a.m. without her husband Joe's support. TMZ claims Joe was MIA because he had father duties Monday, getting the couple's daughters off to school to start the new year off. "MStars News" previously reported that Giudice pled guilty in March to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, as she and her husband will both serve time behind bars. After Teresa is released, her husband Joe will be sent to prison to serve out his 41-month sentencing for fraud. It seems Teresa's eldest daughter Gia will be doing all the talking now for the family as she tweets her feelings daily while her mother is behind bars. The "RHONJ" star's daughter is making her foray to the forefront of the cameras, as she is gearing up to star in her own reality series. While many think this won't get off the ground, the series has actually already started filming, and is set to follow the rise of her girl band 3KT. According to "E! News," the cameras have already been documenting the girls's lives over the last couple months. "It will be all about her group, 3KT," the insider explained to the news site. It is being reported that while "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star is away for her 15-month jail sentence, her daughter Gia Giudice won't be staying at the family home. Despite the fact that the 13-year-old is the oldest daughter in the family, she doesn't want to have to take care of her younger sisters when Teresa is away and doesn't feel like she needs to. According to Radar Online, it's Gia's want for a mother figure in her life during those 15 months that's making her want to move out of the family home and into a friend's house. "She knows her family needs her, but she also realizes that she needs a mother figure while her mom is locked away," the insider explained. "She's at the age where she really needs a mother in her life to help her through the changes of going from a girl into a young woman, and it's not like she'll be able to pick up a phone and dial her mom at a moment's notice." It looks like the music career of one of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey's" star is one and done. Teresa Giudice's daughter Gia and her girl band 3KT premiered their debut single covering Britney Spear's "Circus," which cost the "RHONJ" star a considerable amount of money, a few weeks ago. But mommy isn't reaching into her purse for the girls to produce a follow-up music video, so they were asking for the help of their online fans to donate money to the cause. After only collecting about 10 percent of the final goal, however, Teresa's blaming her co-stars on "RHONJ" for the lack of support in her daughter's music career. According to Radar Online, Gia's music career is being put on hold after her Kickstarter fund to create a new music video only amassed about $900 out of a $7,500 goal. Teresa's looking to blame everyone for the lack of interest in 3KT. "Teresa believes there are negative forces, including costars from "RHONJ," that are the reason why Gia's music video fundraising efforts have been a failure so far.
