Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam covers the December issue of Men's Health and reveals his hardcore workout routine to keep those biceps big and abs chiseled!
"I go into the gym and do 75 pull-ups, 75 dips, 150 squats, 150 pushups, and then 20 minutes of ab work," Hunnan tells the fitness magazine. "Done. It takes an hour; I'm in and out. I sweat the whole time."
It seems as though the star only has one hour to spare for the gym as he is busy wrapping up his seventh and final season of Sons of Anarchy on Dec. 9. However, he will be busier after the show's finale. The British actor will be playing King Arthur as well as campaign in a Calvin Klein ad. He is also filming Crimson Peak and The Mountain Between Us.
"I work out more for the mental than the physical aspect. I can get slightly dark when I'm not keeping a routine, " he shared. "It's all about feeling healthy and energetic."
But wait –– we want to hear more about those killer abs!
"I'll do crunches, side crunches, left lifts. I've probably got 20 different ab exercises that I cycle through regularly. I work my abs three or four times a week."
Whatever those 20 different ab exercises are, they are seriously working in his favor.
The 34-year-old actor got his big break in 1999 as his role as Nathan Maloney in the drama Queer as Folk. He moved on to film Green Street in 2005 and more recently playing Jackson "Jax" Teller in the FX hit series.
