The first family of reality television is about to make a comeback. Sharon, Ozzy, Kelly and Jack Osbourne are once again reuniting on camera and they're all ready for their close ups. The Osbournes, who had a show on MTV from 2002 to 2005, will be returning to the series that made them a guest in everyone's living rooms.
Gossip Cop is reporting that the series is very much likely to happen, as Sharon herself is the one that confirmed the news.
During an episode of the redheaded matriarch's talk show, The Talk, she revealed that the family would once again be headed to reality TV, and it seems that it was partly Ozzy's decision.
"It was all my husband's doing," Sharon revealed. "He looked back on his life, and he said, 'I wish we could have done The Osbournes now, when I'm clean and sober'."
According to the news site, Ozzy is in the process of getting ready to go back out on tour with his band Black Sabbath, who are sure to be included in the footage for the updated series.
However, while this is definitely cause to rejoice, Sharon does warn fans that it isn't going to be a full fledged series but rather an update on the lives of each of the family members; a catch up since we last hung out with them in 2005.
"It's not as much coming back as a proper series as [much as] an update," the star revealed during her talk show. "At most, there will be six to eight episodes, and it's a catch-up on our lives and where we are now, because it's been so long since we've been seen as a family, and our family has grown."
While it might only be a limited series now, diehard fans like us are still holding onto hope that it could turn into something more.
