Anna Kendrick does it all. She can sing, act and model. The 29-year-old actress is opening up about her upcoming musicals (there are three of them) and her newest Kate Spade holiday campaign. Plus, the Pitch Perfect star is revealing who influenced her personal style.
In October, the Cake actress sat down with the Associated Press and explained what it was like to model for the first time as Kate Spade's holiday campaign model. Despite her confidence onscreen, Anna thinks modeling is scary. "If I had for one moment considered it modeling, I probably would've had a freakout," Anna told the Associate Press via Portland Press Herald. "Weirdly it felt a lot more like my day job than it did like modeling."

As Kate Spade's 2015 "The Year of Adventure," spokesmodel, Anna was able to be herself, which was a huge weight off her shoulders. "Kate Spade has really embraced me being me, which is great because it would be a lot harder to not be. So you know I'm glad that they don't mind a little quirk and a little sass," she explained to the publication.
The elegance and glam of the Kate Spade holiday campaign matches Anna's sophisticated style. "(My mom) was always a fan of just really elegant, sophisticated pieces. I mean we grew up in Maine, so we didn't have a lot of call for black tie or anything, but I think I definitely got that sensibility from her," the Twilight star revealed.

In addition to her glamorous modeling campaign, Anna has been working on three upcoming musicals including Into the Woods, where she plays Cinderella. "The character is thoughtful and complicated. You see what happens after she marries the prince, when you start to face problems in seemingly perfect situations. The interesting thing about her is she overthinks things, she's uncertain - we don't see that in most versions. In a lot of ways, I think it's this incredibly brave story," Anna told Marie Claire about her onscreen character in its December issue.
With a musical theater background, it is no surprise that Anna would be doing three musicals right now. She will also be in The Last 5 Years and Pitch Perfect 2, which she is really happy about.
"I was so excited when it started to feel like people are going to make movie musicals again. So I mean it wasn't my master plan, but I'm really happy that that is a trend that is happening and I hope it stays," she said to AP.
