'Sons Of Anarchy' Season 7 Recap: Charlie Hunnam's Jax Teller Discovers Abel's Secret In "Faith And Despondency!"

In the aftermath of Bobby Munson (Mark Boone Junior)'s death, the final Season 7 ride continues with a major shocker for Sons of Anarchy on FX. As SAMCRO goes to war against Moses Cartwright (Mathew St. Patrick), nothing will prepare Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) as he learns Abel's secret in 'Faith And Despondency.'

Everyone is having sex, except for Wendy (Drea De Matteo), who is using a vibrator. Poor Juice (Theo Rossi) is being raped in prison by Ron Tully (Marilyn Manson). Sheriff Althea (Annabeth Gish) and Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) are having steamy sex, while Venus Van Damme (Walton Goggins) and Tig (Kim Coates) are in the midst of theirs.   

After having sex, Jax bursts out crying in front of Winsome (Inbar Lavi). Because he lost Tara, Winsome stays with Jax and takes care of him. Knowing there is a good man inside him, Winsome tries to remind him of that. 

At Otis' place, one of his crew members calls out Tig for sleeping with a tranny. Tig snaps and shoots him in the crotch, as Jax shoots another one of Otis' boys. Otis doesn't realize Leland isn't there is because he is carrying out a hit someplace else.

With Tyler (Mo McRae)'s help, Ratboy and a Grim Bastard are kidnapped by Moses and his gang. They continue to torture them until someone gives up the location of the Pastor's son and his mother. Finally, the Griim Bastard gives Moses the directions of their hiding place.

Leland is actually in the hospital, trying to kill one of Sheriff's Althea's wounded officers. Wayne (Dayton Callie) plays a trick on Leland, but ends up in a shootout. Wayne pulls the trigger first, putting three bullets in him. 

While Tyler saves the kidnapped Ratboy (Niko Nicotera) and the Grim Bastard, Jax has to deal with child services at his son's school. Everyone sees the bloody marks on Abel's wrist. When Jax asks who did that to him, Abel points the blame at Gemma.

With child services around, Jax cannot let Gemma see her grandson. Jax has to move out to his house and take the kids with him. Wendy will go with him, which first Gemma the most.  

When Moses and his crew show up at their location, Otis and his gang suddenly pop up and start shooting. As the last man standing, Jax rips out Moses' eye and the rest of the SAMCRO members chop off his fingers. For Bobby, Jax gets his revenge as he puts a bullet in Moses' head.

Though they cannot be together because they are a cop and criminal, Sheriff Althea has rough sex with Chibs. While Ron reads poetry to Juice, Venus Van Damme professes his love to Tig as they both realize they need each other more than ever. Now that she has lost her grandson, Gemma wants to leave with Nero.

After returning home, Jax reveals to Abel that Wendy is his first mother. He will always have a mother and father who love him very much. Because Wendy is his first mother, Abel wants to know if that's why his grandmother killed his second mother.

Abel finally tells Jax about Gemma's confession in Sons of Anarchy. Readers, what did you think of Faith and Despondency?
