Much-anticipated second installment Dumb and Dumber To has provided some hilarious interviews as of late, Jim Carrey even revealing to The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (November 13) of a hot dog binge that took place while filming.
Ellen asked the actor about the hot dog scene in the movie, Carrey responded by revealing "I ate 36 hot dogs to do that scene."
He added "I thought it'd be great to have the (hot dogs) on the set, and I ate a couple before we began." The now 52-year-old actor said his role as Lloyd Christmas in the film necessitated working through extreme circumstances, explaining "I actually bit through my tonged, entirely through my tongue, during that take, and just kept going- because we suffer for comedy."
The 20-year-sequel of the 1994 classic comedy Dumb and Dumber takes off from where the two characters Lloyd and Harry would have been as if it were real life. The two best friends go on a road trip to find Harry's newly discovered daughter, who was given up for adoption. On their adventure, the two less-intelligently inclined older men embark on some pretty heavy laughs.
"I also inhaled a chunk of hot dog into my lung, and for the next three weeks on the movie. I went around going 'houggh! houggh!'" Carrey said, while making chocking noises.
The actor also took to Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to give fans Dumb and Dumber haricuts, with predictably hilarious results.

The original Dumb and Dumber film hit the jackpot with a $247 million worldwide box office slam, as it was released in 1994. Director Peter Farrelly was just waiting for the best time to release the second installment.
"I always knew it was going to happen," Mstars News reported. "But there were many, many, many days when it looked like it might not."
Dumb and Dumber To was released nationwide today Friday Nov. 14.
